I love this post so much. You “love publicized” again and it is so profoundly beautiful. Marriage can be sustainable (this year is 34 yrs for hubby and I and it’s the second one for both of us.) Has it always been sunshine and rainbows and romance? Nope. It’s been almost splitting up at year eight, but going into counseling instead, and weathering all the storms since that often felt like we had stapled storm shutters to our hearts. So is marriage easy? Nope. But is it worth it? Absolutely. Because through all the struggles it forces us to grow and become better. I love this author- unknown quote and it’s what we mean when we say “I love you more”:
